In China’s Xinjie province, 8-year-old Wang Fuman resides. The boy has lived with his grandmother ever since his mother abandoned him and his father was compelled to relocate to a major city for work.

Wang Fuman must now walk three miles each way to and from school, which takes him hours every day. It has also been more difficult for Wang to get to school than usual because winter has arrived and the temperature has dropped. The temperature frequently drops to -9 degrees Celsius. Like wildfire, the principal of the boy’s school made the decision to post some images to social media to highlight the difficult circumstances that many of his students face.

Additionally, Wang Fuman’s final photo that the principal uploaded has gone viral. The image displays how the young boy’s head is completely still. His cheeks are burning from the cold, and his brows are frozen. According to Noticias Caracol, the boy’s principal explains that he chose to walk to school in the severe weather because he had a test.

China’s People’s Daily published this on January 9, 2018, Tuesday.

Disciplined Despite the cold, the young boy was determined to get to school in time for the test. He finished the exam with his hands frozen.

Wang Fuman clearly demonstrates his strictness and commitment to learning. I sincerely hope that he will seek some assistance as a result of these pictures, allowing him to avoid dealing with such difficult circumstances on the way to school. Every child should be able to travel to and from school in acceptable conditions because every child has a right to attend. If so, spread the word.
