Donny Osmond is a well-known singer and actor. However, some people might not be aware that before starting a solo career, he first performed as a family act with his four older brothers.
Even after embarking on a solo career, he made sure to assist his brothers in all facets of their lives. His brothers were always in his thoughts.
The older brother of Donny Osmond, Merrill Osmond, is also a gifted performer. A few months ago, the senior Osmond announced that this would be his last performance. Donny made sure to attend the legendary show.
The performer posted a photo of an emotional moment he shared with his brother while on stage, in which Donny gave his older brother a tight hug from behind.
He wrote a sweet comment next to the picture, “It was a night I’ll never forget. I went to my brother Merrill’s final US concert. As I listened to him perform in the Westgate theater, where we gave a joint performance in the 1970s, I started to sing along with the adoring crowd. After the show, he invited me to come with him, and as he sang his last song, I couldn’t help but give my brother a thoughtful farewell embrace. Merrill’s vocals gave the music its sound, but the Osmonds were made up of all of us. It was a great time. My brother, I appreciate it. ”.
It was a night I'll never forget. I went to my brother, Merrill's final performance here in the US. As I watched him, I turned into a fan myself as I sang along with all of the other fans packing the Westgate theater, where we performed together in the 70's. pic.twitter.com/Ja8q5vzgTw

It was a memorable evening. I attended my brother Merrill’s last performance in the US. I began to admire him as I joined the chorus of fans singing at the Westgate Theater, where we gave a joint performance in the 1970s, as I became one of them myself. With his four older siblings, Donny spent several years performing as “The Osmonds.”. The group experienced enormous fame during the middle of the 1970s. In recognition of their contributions to music, they were given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003.
