Lucky had few good reasons to be happy in his life. None of the owners or families he had been with showed him the respect or love he so richly deserved. Lucky, a puppy factory-born pup, was never taken in by an adoptive family. He was ultimately given away for free.
Lucky was different from other dogs because of his deformed face.
Lucky was constantly being moved around, never having the chance to settle down or establish himself. He was frequently given away for free to the subsequent owner because nobody wanted to keep him for very long.
Lucky has had many owners over the years, but none of them have truly taken care of his needs. He most recently resided with a family in Austin, Texas, but he was pitifully abandoned and left to fend for himself.

Lucky was forced to spend every day outside because the family’s cats didn’t like him being there. Without adequate food or a cozy place to sleep, he was left in the yard tied to a tree. Being fussed over or receiving the love and care that a dog would typically receive in a home was out of the question. Without thinking twice, the decision was made to get rid of Lucky when the family made the decision to move.
Instagram They got in touch with a local dog shelter. While volunteers from the shelter started looking for a new place for him to live, Lucky was left with his “family” until they moved into a new home. Finally, a new family willing to foster Lucky was located by the animal shelter. Sadly, it didn’t take them long to change their minds; they only needed to see Lucky’s face to decide to back out of the move. Luckily, a social media post caused a complete turnaround.

Before sharing a few pictures of Lucky on social media, one of the shelter’s volunteers took him to be groomed.
Jamie Hult eventually saw a post and immediately requested to meet the dog.
“I immediately contacted him and said, “I want that dog.
It just so happened to be someone in my dog rescue world. Jamie said to iHeartdogs, “I don’t even want to foster it; I want to take that dog. Lucky could have been saved, but he wasn’t. In addition to other things, he had malnutrition after being mistreated and neglected for a number of years. He had never been chipped and was covered in worms and fleas.

But Jamie made the choice to take him home. Though it wouldn’t be simple, she would persevere no matter what. Jamie helped Lucky find his forever home. The affection and care he had been seeking for so long were finally given to him. Lucky has fully recovered and is now enjoying life as a healthy dog, but the journey has been incredibly difficult. “He almost didn’t survive. For a week, he was in the oxygen tank. He was so infested; he was basically skin and bones, so I wound up spending about $8000 on treatment to get an MRI just to see what was going on.
When Lucky was on the verge of death, Jamie was so adamant about helping him that she was confident she would do whatever it took to make him well again. “We once came close to losing him, but it was touch and go. I told my vet, “I don’t care; just do whatever you need to for this specific dog, and I’ll pay whatever it costs.”. Don’t be reluctant. And he accomplished it. In good health.
He is now absolutely clear.
Lucky was able to turn things around with the assistance of veterinarians and Jamie’s enormous heart. He’s doing fantastic right now!

Jamie has endured a number of mocking remarks about Lucky’s appearance since adopting him. She doesn’t give a damn, though; she accepts Lucky just as he is.
“When I first got him, I really wanted him to be associated with people, but people kept asking about his face and laughing at him,” claims Jamie. “Don’t worry, go ahead and laugh,” I said. I got to work on his ties. Just so that it would balance out his face and perhaps draw attention to the parts of him that are cuter and less frightening. Jamie even made the decision to rename Lucky. For two reasons, she changed his name to Beaux Tox. He obviously needs botox, but that’s okay, which is why I gave him the name Beaux Tox. We value all kinds of beauty. And the dog bills are expensive, which is why I don’t have botox!”.

Helping other animals Lucky is, by all accounts, a carefree and loving dog. He helps raise the kittens Jamie adopted and takes good care of his younger sister.
We still rescue and foster children, and I’m glad I got Beaux, Jamie said. “He has fostered kittens. With anything, Beaux Tox is good. He is gentle with kittens, young skunks, and cats. For one hour, he’ll observe the spider. Everything piques his interest, and everything is thrilling to him. ”.
