LizSoden Brad and Liz had their children in the back of their truck. Liz was operating the vehicle when the left front tire burst. She mishandled the wheel and sent the vehicle off the road. Fortunately, the three boys of the couple only sustained minor bruises. Brad’s wounds were a little more severe; he broke his leg. Liz, however, experienced a tragic outcome because she broke her back and was left paralyzed from the waist down.
After being rushed to the hospital for surgery, Liz was given her diagnosis by her doctors when she awoke. Liz believed that her life had ended. Then-boyfriend Brad, who she believed would leave her for a “normal woman,” was her worst fear. ”.
Brad’s response was to immediately get down on one knee and pop the question inside the hospital.
Liz Soden Of course Liz said “yes,” and the pair were wed shortly after. The entire family was there for Liz on her long road to recovery. Liz is a strong woman, but adjusting to her new life in a wheelchair was very challenging. especially since hiking had been one of the family’s favorites pastimes.
Liz tried to follow along after the accident, but she soon realized that the rocky terrain she loved to hike in would be impossible for her wheelchair to handle.
Soden On one occasion, Liz was left behind on the flat road as the family traveled along a moose trail. She begged her family to continue while crying. Brad was devastated by the sight and vowed never to let something like that happen again. Brad was a maintenance technician in the army, which meant that he was in charge of maintaining and cleaning tanks.
Because of his work, he was inspired to create a unique wheelchair for Liz, one that could travel off-road and accompany the family wherever they went.
BradSoden However, it was easier said than done. Brad stayed in the garage for days on end.
He didn’t go outside much on some days, and occasionally he got impatient.
Liz as well as the nearby residents grew accustomed to the obnoxious noise coming from the garage.
Brad’s challenge was to create a silent electric engine that would function in remote locations and at campsites. Brad had finally discovered the answer after spending countless hours searching. Liz was shocked when he called her to the garage and presented her with a special wheelchair that had tank treads!
BradSoden Brad’s creation received attention. The executives of the high-tech company NPC Robotics were among those who were impressed by the all-terrain wheelchair. The business helped Brad and created a prototype using his design. Liz’s new wheelchair is quick, quiet, and designed for off-road travel thanks to modern technology.Brad hasn’t just demonstrated his immense love for Liz, he’s also demonstrated that he has the creativity and determination to overcome anything.
