All babies are beautiful gifts from God that restore our faith in the goodness of the cosmos.

The announcement of a woman’s pregnancy is typically cause for joy because it enables the family to look forward to the birth of a new member and the future of the child.

The difficulties that come with each pregnancy are almost universal.

Despite improvements in medical technology, giving birth still carries some risks.

Tru Wende Beare has a remarkable past. She was already in a life-threatening situation when she was born 1 pound early, 14 weeks before her due date.

Eleven days after Tru’s birth, her mother finally had a chance to hold her.

The medical staff at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, British Columbia, was instrumental in Tru’s recovery.

She still had a long way to go in her fight, though.

After becoming ill, Tru spent several weeks being kept alive in an incubator.

Day 54 brought about her father’s first opportunity to hold her, and he loved every second of it.

Tru faced many difficulties, but she made progress.

She moved from the incubator to the crib on day 71, and nothing was going to stand in her way.

As she was able to begin using low-flow oxygen for the first time on the 90th day, this brave young girl’s journey toward death officially began.

After spending four long months in the hospital, Tru was finally allowed to leave.

Her protracted hospitalization was made worse by two episodes of sepsis, two blood clots, chronic lung disease, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), retinopathy, two blood infections, and seven blood transfusions.

Tru did not lead a simple life, but her story is incredibly inspirational.

Tru was fiercely defended, and today, as a healthy toddler and big sister, she is a success.

She has rosy cheeks, a wide grin, and bright eyes.

Fortunately, everything appeared to have gone as planned, and Tru is now gradually expanding.

Nearing three years old, Tru is healthy.
