Dolly Parton is well known for her excellent singing, upbeat demeanor, and giving nature, as well as, of course, her stunning looks. She once said, “It costs a lot of money to look this cheap. Despite the fact that we believe she always looks like a million bucks, how does the country singer manage to stay in such good shape?

The Dolly Parton Diet, which calls for eating fruits and vegetables along with cabbage soup (yep, cabbage soup!) as one of your main meals, is probably something you’ve heard of. A different name for the TWA Stewardess Diet is the “cabbage soup diet.”.

According to a 1996 article in The Washington Post, the eating regimen may enable users to lose “10 to 17 pounds in a week.”. We’re not sure if it’s healthy – or worth tolerating the strong flavor – but it would certainly result in weight loss if one severely restricted their diet.

The real query, however, is whether Dolly used the aforementioned diet to shed some pounds. She reportedly said, “I thought I might as well see if I can lose weight on my own diet,” despite acknowledging she had nothing to do with it being named after her, according to a 2015 Vanity Fair article.

While researching the diet’s beginnings, The Post came across an article showcasing “TJ’s Miracle Soup”; the TJ in question was a member of Dolly’s band who had first suggested it to her. The singer’s agents at the time, however, responded with denials and “no comment.”.

All signs suggest that she will at least try the diet. Considering that “I tried every diet in the book, as well as some that weren’t,”. She says things like, “I tried eating the book — it tasted better than most diets!” in one of her funniest quotes.

But in any case, we think it is best to stick with healthier (and tastier) weight loss options rather than the dubious Dolly Parton Diet.
