The shelter staff knows that the puppies are waiting at the door of the kennel to attract someone’s attention.

They see the longing in the dog’s eyes. They know that dogs want beautiful homes and parents who will give them all the love they lack.

Shelter dogs can never be completely happy without finding a forever family. Many shelters host adoption events to ensure a happy ending for the adorable animals in their shelters, and all adoptable pets look forward to attending these events.

Elvis, the cute guard dog, was also looking forward to this event and hoped it would be the day his dream came true.

Elvis was taken off the street and taken to the Humane Society, an animal shelter in Chicago, Illinois.

Ever since he arrived at the shelter, he has wanted to find a forever family. In their loving embrace, she hoped to find the love she was missing.

As the adoption approached, Elvis became more excited and hopeful. Unfortunately, his excitement was disappointing after the event was over. Except for him, all of his companions realized that they had found their forever homes in the shelter.

Elvis met with many potential adopters but was not selected and was returned to a shelter in Chicago.

The shelter staff was heartbroken. They loved Elvis, but they didn’t understand why he was excluded. It was a very adorable and cuddly toy. When he returned to the shelter, he looked around, but did not see any of his friends protected. All are adopted. The shelter was very quiet and Elvis missed his friends. He also really hoped he would leave the shelter. Whenever he heard guests entering the shelter, they would talk to him and watch him closely, hoping he would be noticed.

His foster parents gave him all their love and affection, and the puppy felt comforted and loved. Friends at Elvis’ shelter have taken to social media, desperate to help their beloved Elvis find happiness. They said Elvis was the only pet not adopted at the adoption event.

“Help us find Elvis a family to love! Elvis is a 3-year-old meatball that has the silliest personality! His giant smile lights up every room he enters,” they wrote in their Facebook post.

Shortly afterward, his story went viral and many news stations reported about the sweet dog with a beautiful smile who found himself all alone in the shelter.

Elvis Is All Smiles As He Kisses His Forever Parents

Luckily, it didn’t take long for Elvis to find his forever family. Once Loren and Drew heard about Elvis’s situation, they knew that they wanted to adopt him and make him the happiest dog in the whole world.

When Elvis met his parents for the first time, he couldn’t contain his happiness and he covered their faces in adorable little kisses.

Elvis’ new parents held many Anti-Cruelty adoption events, and Loren is a former Elvis impersonator.

“This couple is head over heels in love with their new family member and already has a dog bed and tons of toys waiting for him at his forever home,” the shelter staff shared on their Facebook page.

Elvis’ parents are aware that their newest family member will need some time to adjust to his new home. They promised to shower him with love and spoil him a lot. They will give him the happy ending he has always dreamed of.
