It breaks my heart to see how cruel some dog owners are to innocent pups who deserve so much love.
Instead of making the dogs safe and happy, the owners abuse them and break their hearts. They leave behind loyal pups who believed in them wholeheartedly.
Snapple is an amazing dog who knows what it’s like to be betrayed by the people he trusts the most. Her cruel masters tied her to a garbage can and abandoned her without any sympathy or concern for her welfare.
The scared puppy needs help
Fortunately, Donna Lohmann and her St. Stray Rescue, based in St. Louis, was driving through the capital of Missouri. As soon as they saw the helpless puppy lying on the garbage heap, they jumped out of the car and ran to help him.
Their hearts sank as they approached Dogo and realized he was tied to a trash can. “We stopped and found the dog staring at us in the trash can. [He] was tied to a garbage can with a cable, and the cable was wrapped around the fence.” Stray Rescue from St. Louis posted on Facebook. The dog realized he couldn’t help himself. As he lies in the trash can, he can only hope that someone will rescue him and take him to safety. When the puppy saw the rescuers, he raised his head and looked at them with sad eyes.
The rescuers tried to free him, but the dog was so afraid that he did not let them approach. He started barking.
Earn his trust
The rescuers did not give in. They knew the dogs didn’t trust them because of the heartless humans who abandoned them.
Lohman was determined to justify his confidence. He gave him a Vienna sausage and the hungry dog ate it.
After a while, the dog, later named Snapple, trusted the rescuers and allowed them to put a leash around his neck. Rescuers rescued him and carried him to the car. At first, the dog was wary, but soon realized he was in good hands. Her heroes took her to the shelter and gave her a soothing bath.
He passed his medical and the team was happy to hear that Snapple was healthy. rain of love
The dear dog was so frightened that he could not forget the hardships he had gone through. His wonderful friends from the shelter in St. Louis tried to convince him otherwise. They wanted to know that he would never be hurt or abandoned again.
The shelter staff took care of him and gave him all their love. Doggo gradually began to relax and come out of his shell. Snapple kissed his guardians to show how much he appreciated their love and care. He still needs time to heal his emotional wounds and realize that happier days are ahead.
The adorable pup is available for adoption, but her friends at the shelter want to give her enough time to make a full recovery.
“She can let those walls down when she’s ready. [Stray Rescue of St. Louis] gives dogs the time they need, each on their own unique timeline,” the shelter wrote.
They will be by her side every step of the way, giving her a lot of love and helping her thrive.
