Isn’t it amazing that dogs who have been through the worst times of their lives still have hope? He seems to know that no matter what happens, better days will come. Today’s story is about what happened to a dog. After being dumped, she realized it was no reason to laugh because she felt her life was about to change for the better. Abandoned,

We are honored to introduce Goose, a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a spirit that shines even at the lowest levels.

One fateful day, Gus was found tied to a fence with a heartfelt note saying that his former owners no longer wanted him. Two passengers who approached him and wanted to give him a pet as a gift never imagined he was alone because he never looked away from his bright smile.

One of them, hearing of his sad fate and that his spirit would never give up, decided to become a mere spectator. He lovingly held out his hand and offered to take it.

He really loves people. When he saw someone walking towards him, he could only hope it was his lover.

The note discovered by Hawkins Goose says:

There is no time. Just take the dog. And that’s exactly what he did!

But first she took him to the local vet because he was very dirty and covered in mites.

With this in mind, Goose’s team of vets decided to give Goose a thorough cleaning over several days to prevent him from experiencing too much stress. Despite his condition, Gus always had a smile on his face.

Through it all, he never showed any aggression. I think he knew we were trying to help him.

If you thought this puppy’s smile couldn’t get any bigger, just wait until you see that smile when you know he’s ready to go home. dog in the box

new life
Lindsay was happy to take her home and become her temporary foster mom, but Goose had other plans.

When we got home he tried to climb from the back seat of my SUV to the front seat and finally onto my lap. When Lindsay returned home, she discovered that Goose had spent his entire life outside. He was too afraid to go near furniture and avoided wooden floors. It was mainly limited to living room rugs and carpeted hallways.

But it didn’t take long for Goose to adjust to his new environment. Within days, he became inseparable from his new siblings, including a flock of chickens and a large therapy dog, Zeus.

When Lindsay saw how well they got along, she knew she did. The day we decided he would become a permanent resident. [Goose] was standing on his hind legs, put his front legs on my husband’s shoulders and buried his head in my husband’s chest as if to say, “Thank you.”

After only two weeks in his new home, Gus completely changed his attitude toward his inner life. He loves to jump on Hawkins’ bed as if it were his own and now he has no problem walking on the wooden floor.

the last word
This dog never gave up his contagious smile, no matter the odds. It is truly inspiring to witness her unspoken spirit and resilience.

He is also considering following in his brother Zeus’ footsteps and becoming a therapy dog. I trust she will do a great job and spread comfort, joy and love with an unwavering spirit.
