When I read the story I am about to tell, there was something very sad and depressing about it.
When dogs are adopted, most people can’t imagine their owners leaving them, but when it happens, it’s just heartbreaking. The worst case scenario is for dog owners to surrender their dogs to the first shelter they come across.
My friend was very disappointed.

When Buddy was first surrendered to an animal shelter in Texas, his owners were suffering from multiple health issues and could no longer care for him. It caused him a lot of pain because he didn’t understand why this was happening and he couldn’t do anything about it.
But Buddy’s bad luck didn’t end there. Her health began to deteriorate and the shelter staff wanted to do something to help her.

He had difficulty walking on his hind legs and needed someone to look after him during treatment. So the staff had to act fast and find a foster home in Texas because he was on the euthanasia list and they didn’t have much time.
Then a miracle happened and someone let him in. When his new parents arrived at his kennel, Buddy was delighted to see the treats.

For a moment, he was glad to see someone who showed him interest and compassion. Now all that’s left is to get him to safety.
His new parents took him to their new home, where he rested for a while. They took him to the vet the next day and discovered he was suffering from yeast dermatitis, stiff joints and sore feet.
Fortunately, they gave him the necessary medication to help him recover. Now it’s time for him to go home.

A few days passed and his parents realized how happy he was, that he was now with them and enjoying life. One of his favorite things is to lie down and take a nap next to his stepdad. He also likes to play with his toys a lot. When it’s dinner time, Buddy is excited. For some reason, his parents noticed that he loves ham, which makes this dish special for him. He went from a sad and abandoned dog to a very happy and healthy dog in no time. It’s amazing how well he recovered thanks to his parents.
