Our four-legged friends know how much we love them. They feel our love every time we hug them or speak to them in a loving voice. Our puppies show us that they love us too. Not only do they kiss us and look at us with loving eyes, they also do other kind things to let us know how much we mean to them. . Today’s story is about an adorable golden retriever named Cody. He has the cutest way of showing how much he loves his little human, Autumn.
True love
When Cody met Autumn, he was a little fur baby. She welcomed him into her Maryland home with open arms and a big smile. The puppy hugged her. It was love at first sight for her. The girl’s eyes sparkled with happiness.
The bond we have built over the years has become stronger and more beautiful. When her little son went to school, he missed her very much.
He walked to the bus stop every day with his grandmother, Kelly, who also happens to be Autumn’s owner, to pick her up. Kelly’s heart melted every time she saw how excited and happy Cody was when he saw Autumn get off the bus.
One day he decided to ask his beloved for a favor. He started grabbing his school bag with his chin.
“He loves my granddaughter. Oh, my goodness, his whole body just wags when she comes into the picture. Once her bus gets there, he goes right up to the doors and then he’ll go and grab the backpack and just take it all the way to the house,” Kelly told The Dodo.
While he is carrying the backpack, his fluffy tail never stops wagging.
“He walks like he’s the most important dog in the whole world because he’s picked up his best friend,” she added.
Autumn is honored when Cody comes to pick her up. She feels like a queen. She makes sure to take the metal bottle out of her bag so as not to damage Cody’s teeth.

Back at the house, Cody and Autumn kiss and are showered with love.
They hang out together in their free time, and Cody covers his face with kisses. Puppies are happiest when their best friend is at home.
This adorable pup loves caring for and helping her mother, Kelly, while Autumn is at school. He delivers an Amazon package to her after it’s delivered to his home in Maryland.
Kelly considers him a true gentleman. She feels happy because Cody and Autumn love each other very much. She is sure that they will remain best friends forever. It’s really nice to be reminded of how gentle the friendship between children and dogs is. We hope Cody and Autumn have many great adventures together.
