Arrival at the Shelter

Cinnamon the goat and Felix the dog found themselves at the Wake County Animal Shelter when their owner faced health issues and could no longer care for them. The shelter staff recognized their inseparable bond from the moment they arrived.

Unwavering Devotion

Despite efforts to separate them during intake exams, Cinnamon refused to leave Felix’s side. Recognizing their strong connection, the shelter prioritized keeping them together, even if it meant finding a less conventional solution.

A Unique Dilemma

While several rescues offered to take them, accommodating both Cinnamon and Felix posed a challenge. The shelter sought a solution that would honor their friendship and provide them with a loving forever home.

A Perfect Match

Thanks to The Mr. Mo Project, a dedicated rescue partner, Cinnamon and Felix found their ideal home on Jacquie Bankes’ North Carolina farm. Here, they could thrive in each other’s company and enjoy the carefree life they deserved.

From Shelter to Sanctuary

Under Jacquie’s care, Cinnamon and Felix flourished, embracing their roles as siblings. Their heartwarming journey serves as a testament to the enduring bonds animals form and the lengths we go to ensure their happiness.
