When an elderly woman discovered her son’s dog was pregnant, she never expected the dog to give birth to 10 puppies. Overwhelmed by the sudden responsibility, she reached out to Stray Rescue of St. Louis for assistance.
They Have Found A Foster
Upon arrival, a rescuer found a worried mother dog and her ten newborn puppies in need of immediate care. The elderly woman, unable to manage such a large litter, explained the situation and welcomed the rescuer’s aid.
Reuniting and Fostering
After safely relocating the puppies, the rescuer ensured they were examined and found to be mostly healthy. The mother dog, visibly anxious when separated briefly, was soon reunited with her pups.
Finding a Temporary Home
Moved to a St. Louis shelter, the puppies awaited a foster home where they could thrive until adoption. Fortunately, a volunteer stepped forward to provide a nurturing environment for their early development.
