When the Krier family discovered that their beloved Black Labrador, Bo, was missing, they were gripped by panic. Their frantic search began immediately, scouring every possible location.
Bo’s love for adventure was well-known to his family. Sneaking out of their home in Concordia, Kansas, and embarking on solo escapades was something he often indulged in. Despite his frequent wanderings, Bo always managed to find his way back home. However, this time felt different.
The night Bo vanished, he disappeared from the yard after his mom took him out for a bathroom break. He didn’t return, leaving the family in distress.
Family Receives News of Bo
The entire family was deeply worried about their sweet boy. They couldn’t stop searching and hoped for his safe return. His mom, Laura Krier, posted his photo on social media, urging anyone who spotted their dog to contact them immediately.
The following day, a wave of relief washed over the family when Kyle Krier, Bo’s dad, received news of a dog resembling Bo seen running in the cornfields six miles away from their home. Kyle wasted no time and drove to the spot. As soon as he called Bo’s name, the dog came running towards him.
Kyle was overjoyed to see Bo safe. However, he quickly noticed that Bo wasn’t alone. Bo had brought some friends along on his adventure.
Bo Introduces His Friends to His Dad
As the trio approached, Kyle was surprised to see that Bo’s companions were not just any animals but a dog and a goat. True to his friendly nature, Bo invited his friends to ride in his dad’s red truck. Not wanting to leave them behind, Kyle asked the three adventurers to hop into his car and drove them to the city.
Soon, it became clear that Bo’s new friends, Libby and Ozzy, belonged to their neighbors. Bo had likely wandered to his friends’ home after sneaking out. The exact origin of their escapade remained unclear, but the owners were convinced that the trio had planned the adventure together.
Shawna Huggans remarked, “It’s difficult to say if Bo the black Lab or Libby and Ozzy were the culprit in starting the adventure. But, nonetheless, they escaped. They’re pals for sure.”
Bo’s Perfect Life
Bo continued to live his adventurous life, making more goat friends and frequently sneaking out for new escapades. His life in Kansas was filled with joy and excitement.
Tragically, in July 2022, Laura shared on Facebook that Bo had crossed the rainbow bridge. The Krier family will always hold him dear in their hearts.
Laura fondly wrote, “He was so perfect from the day we picked him as a puppy, it’s truly unexplainable! The happiness he brought us all everyday, his funny personality. His love to go with dad to work, his love to go on walks or jogs even if I couldn’t keep up with his energy and his love for hot dogs will live on forever with us everyday.”
Bo lived his best life, bringing joy and smiles to many. His memory will always be cherished by those who loved him.
