The dog found shelter under the car

Nick, a Chihuahua, had the misfortune of attacking a pack of animals in Southern California, forcing him to risk his life and seek shelter under a car.

Nick hid behind the back wheel and patiently waited for the animals to forget about him and go away. Luckily, some neighbors saw it all and immediately called Logan’s Legacy Dog Rescue to help.

The founder of the Rescue, Suzette Hall, decided to help the small, frightened pup and quickly headed to the southern California area.

“He had a pretty bad wound. He had to have emergency surgery,” said Suzette.

Suzette put Nick in the car and drove him to Camino Animal Hospital. There, a team of veterinarians was waiting to give immediate treatment to the little one.

The surgical team successfully completed the operation and closed the wound, but Nick was still not feeling well when he woke up. After leaving the operating room, he became very ill. He later tested positive for parvo. Parvo (or CPV) is a highly contagious virus that primarily affects dogs. However, according to a study by petMD, survival rates with treatment are typically 75% to 80%. Unfortunately, in addition to recovering from the shocking attack, Nick now has to deal with a highly contagious virus.

But Nick, being a very strong and persistent dog, decided to take matters into his own hands with the vet team!

new life

One of the vets was impressed by Nick’s resilience and formed a great bond with the pup. He stayed after work to help out, hang out with Niq and have endless fun.

He sat with her every day after work. He fell in love with her.

After a few games, the vet decided to recommend that Suzette take Nick home this weekend to give him a warm environment to recover. Suzette was delighted and agreed to the offer and was delighted to hear the wonderful news on Monday morning.

He offered to take her home this weekend, but he couldn’t take her back. He said, “That’s the way it has to be. “Can I adopt you?”
