Louise took another pregnancy test a month later, to be sure, but it was also negative. The woman went to the doctor, worried since the symptoms persisted.

The doctors informed her that there was nothing to worry about, but they did not rule out the chance of pregnancy. Louise returned to the hospital following five more tests for specialised testing.

The findings astonished her: the young woman had a soccer-ball-sized tumour on her right ovary.
