There are quite a few dogs in this world with unique traits that make them appear sad, confused or angry.

Although they look strange, it is difficult to distinguish their actions and faces. We humans might think that a dog with a sad face is always sad, but that’s not true.

In this story, we will talk about the most adorable dog whose face always smells great.

Meet Siri
a dog lying on a blanket

Siri is a three-year-old dog who has spent the last 400 days at an animal shelter in North Carolina looking for a new family.

Although her frowning face makes people think that she is always sad, Siri is very kind and happy in front of others. Samantha Ranlet of the Wake County SPCA told The Dodo: This animal was surrendered after spending its entire life outdoors. He had a dog friend who lived outside with him and at some point they started fighting over food. This conflict led to Siri’s family being sent to a shelter where they hoped someone else would take her in.

Everyone at the shelter loved him right away because he seemed so happy to see everyone, but the problem was that the shelter was overcrowded and a better solution was needed. the dog looked up

This is where the SPCA decided to step in and take him in to make him feel safe until it was time for someone to adopt him.

Ranlet said: We take pets from partner shelters to give them more time to find homes. For Siri, this was very important. He needed more time. Once he was in their care, they immediately went to work to find him a forever home.

Siri is finally approved.

At first, it was hard to find him a home because he was unique. He didn’t like other dogs very much and would fight with them.

Ranlet says: We are trying to find a home that will accept a dog that doesn’t want to be around other dogs. There are no other dogs at home.

The situation becomes even more difficult because most households usually have several dogs. But Siri didn’t want to go home because of her tendency to fight with her other siblings. The staff tried to help him soften and bond with other dogs, but it didn’t seem to work.

Over the years she’s been there, at least 11 people have expressed interest in adopting Siri, but all have given up. Things seemed hopeless until one fateful day something surprising appeared at the door. 411 days later, Siri was adopted by a family in North Carolina. Happy couple with new dog

The lovely couple heard her story and decided to take Siri into their forever home.

It was the best news the shelter staff had received in a long time and they all seemed overjoyed that one of their loved ones had found a loving and caring family.
