Many people would be shocked to learn that, despite having three children and a committed 44-year marriage, Henry Winkler and his wife hardly ever saw each other after their initial encounter in a clothing store.
Henry Winkler is probably best known for playing Arthur Fonzarelli in the television series “Happy Days,” but he also deserves praise for his devoted union with Stacey. Realizing that they almost skipped their first date is difficult.
The majority of people are familiar with Henry Winkler because of the iconic roles he has played throughout his long career. Winkler is best known for playing Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli in the television series “Happy Days,” a role that is frequently referenced in contemporary culture.
The actor and public relations professional were in a clothing store that Stacey’s agency represented when Stacey and Henry first met. To get a sport coat, Henry asked Stacey for help, and the rest is history.
Henry recalled their first meeting: “She was wearing purple parachute pants and had red hair, and I didn’t even hear her say a word before I thought, “Woah, beautiful woman standing in front of me. She was still there the following week when I went back to the shop. I was also surprised by how tough she is in just ten minutes. ”.
Stacey nearly turned down Henry’s invitation to go on a date a week later when he went back to the same shop to get his coat. Naturally, she agreed eventually, and before they knew it, they were dating.
Just prior to Henry and Stacey’s decision to get married in 1978, Stacey and her son, who was four at the time, went beyond courting and moved in with Henry.
The couple had to begin negotiating Henry’s rising fame after getting married in the same Manhattan synagogue where Winkler celebrated his bar mitzvah. Stacey had to deal with the excessive amounts of female attention he started to receive on a regular basis.
Even after the couple got married, Stacey revealed, women continued approaching their husbands. She remarked that she would have to learn to deal with it even though the attention was excellent for his work.
She even claimed that as they rushed up to Henry, people would step over my feet. I once exclaimed, “You just completely destroyed my stockings. But I adore Fonzie!” she exclaimed in response.
Compared to upcoming challenges, the couple did not give much thought to female fans.
Zoey and Max were born to Henry and Stacey in 1980, and the couple coexisted with their children and careers for many years.
Max Daniel Winkler made the decision to pursue a career in entertainment like his father. He currently works as a writer, director, and producer for popular programs like “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and “New Girl,” among others.
However, in the late 1990s, the family’s situation was depressing. Stacey had a completely new issue to deal with after being told she had breast cancer.
Stacey experienced remission very quickly. Sadly, her illness returned in 2007 after a few months of this. At this point, she had a double mastectomy, and ever since, she hasn’t had cancer.
In order to support his devoted wife, Henry has developed a strong interest in breast cancer awareness. Winkler was asked to speak as the special guest at the 13th annual “In The Pink of Health” Luncheon, one of many events the group holds to raise money for breast cancer patients and their families.
Long before Stacey was diagnosed with cancer, Henry had been helping those who were suffering from the disease. In 1976, he attended an all-star basketball game to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.
By supporting and respecting one another, Henry and his wife have maintained a long and happy marriage. They do not conceal their love, despite the fact that they insist there are other elements to their happy marriage.

On the James Corden show, Henry was startled when James Corden gave him a picture from the day he and Stacey were married. Winkler said Stacey still has the same stunning appearance as she did on the day of their wedding.
Henry is not the only one who has publicly declared their love. She frequently supports her still-busy husband on social media with posts and images.
Despite the fact that 44 years of marriage haven’t always been easy, the couple has frequently been open about working together to solve problems.

If you have the ability and the perseverance grounded in love, your friendship and relationship will only improve, Stacey once told People. There are bumps in the road and times when you feel out of sorts.
With their new grandchildren, Winkler and his wife are happy. Winkler treasures his relationship with his grandchildren because he was unable to develop a close relationship with his grandparents because they were sent to concentration camps during the Holocaust.
He remembered how he had been recognized in a television interview by one of his grandchildren. He continued by saying that my wife and I watched our four-year-old grandson, who is allowed to watch one show before going to bed. The recording of Happy Days is set on his DVR. He answered, turning to look at me, “That’s you.”. Your hair had altered. Back then, you were slimmer.
He insisted that his young grandchildren had no idea that he was a well-known actor and that he was content to be their adoring “Papa.”.
The two should genuinely serve as an example to the rest of us due to their courage, realism, and love as a couple and individuals.
