Jocelyn Wildenstein is an American socialite, popularly known for her numerous cosmetic surgeries which left her with a Catlike appearance and earned her the name ‘Catwoman’.
Jocelyn was in the spotlight in the ’90s after her divorce from art dealer Alec Wildenstein. She went off media for two decades and appeared in the spotlight again on her 80th birthday.
The Catwoman was born as Jocelynys Dayannys da Silva Bezerra Périsset in1945, Switzerland.
Jocelyn at an early age knew what she wanted and she found out sooner than later that she will climb the social ladder easier and faster by dating Wealthy men.
She started a relationship with Swiss film producer Cyril Piguet at the age of 17. The duo dated for 2 years, before they finally broke up and Jocelyn moved to Paris.
She found love again with Italian-French filmmaker Sergio Gabbi and had the opportunity to be in more social circles and was having the best time of her life.
In Paris, she worked as a pilot and a hunter and spent most of her time in Africa, where she always wish to return to someday.
”Africa is a paradise. You meet people who look at life differently. They love the adventure,” she said to New York Magazine.
Jocelyn got to meet her future husband, Alec Nathan Wildenstein – an American billionaire art dealer and racehorse breeder, in Kenya, Africa. The duo met during a safari in 1977.
The duo shared their first kiss on their first date and one year after the first date they left for Las Vegas.
Alec’s father was against their marriage and couldn’t show up at their wedding. ”He was against marriage in general. My father checks things out. My father tried to warn me,” Alec told Vanity Fair.
The couple settled in New York’s ‘Olympic Tower,’ a 51-story building in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City at the beginning of their marriage, and raised two children together.
At the beginning of their marriage, the duo became interested in the cosmetic surgery trend and Alec had to get a facelift after Jocelyn told him, his eyes looks baggy.
According to the Daily Mail, Jocelyn was the most intrigued about cosmetic surgeries and spent millions of dollars on surgeries to satisfy her husband, who loved big cats.
Their 13 years marriage ended after Jocelyn caught Alec in bed with a Russian model.
