Less than a year after the birth of their second child together, Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman filed for divorce. Amy Slaton and Michael Halterman are divorcing one another. Halterman, 40, reportedly filed for divorce from the 1,000-pound Sisters star on March 13 in Kentucky, according to court documents.
The former couple, as previously seen on the TLC show, eloped in 2017 and then got married in 2019.
Glenn Allen Halterman, the couple’s second child, was born less than a year before the divorce petition was filed. On July 5, a c-section delivered their son, who weighed 5 pounds. 11 oz. and being 17 point 5 inches long. At the time, Slaton, 35, said, “Finally, the wait is over… Glenn Allen Halterman, our son, has been born, and Michael and I are overjoyed. “I had two miraculous sons; our family is complete,” I exclaimed after the delivery, which went very well.
In a recent 1000-Lb episode, Slaton gushed about her infant child. Sisters claimed that he resembled both her and Halterman.
She said, “My heart is overflowing.”. “Since I was five years old, I’ve wanted to have children, and I’ve always wanted two. Our family is now complete. We can now frame them and hang them on the wall. In addition, Slaton is the mother of Gage Deon Halterman, whom she and Halterman welcomed in November 2020.
