It should not be surprising that many people must work nonstop in order to survive given the state of the world today.
You’ve probably heard a lot about people who try to manipulate the system, about the select few who seem to get by without working, about how they manage to stay afloat without having to work, and about how they profit from other people’s generosity.
There are hundreds of upright, decent people who work hard to make ends meet for every “freeloader,” though. Although some of these people may be struggling financially, they still put in their best effort each day to make ends meet.
Bethany Provencher is one of these individuals, according to sources. She relocated to St. After 18 years as a dedicated single mother with an 11-year-old son in Miami, she moved to Charles, Illinois a few years ago in search of a new beginning.
Due to her 25 years of experience in the customer service industry, Bethany was able to secure a job at an IHOP in the area and sign a lease for a brand-new apartment in The Magic City.
Even so, she was conscious of the fact that she would likely face challenges for a while because, based on all accounts, she lacked the funds necessary to properly furnish her new apartment.
Then, the day before the new year, a famous couple walked into the IHOP Bethany was working at and took a seat in her area of the restaurant.
Bethany immediately identified the man as Donnie Wahlberg, who was with his wife Jenny McCarthy.
Bethany reportedly found it hard to contain her excitement. The waitress had always had a soft spot for Donnie in particular because she adored the band Donnie was in, New Kids on the Block.
Bethany was therefore delighted to be working with him. She had no idea how profound an impact that day would have on the rest of her life.
The singer paid the $35.27 bill after Donnie and his family had finished eating, and he left a note for Bethany to read on the receipt. It had a hand-drawn smiley face next to the words, “Thanks, Bethany, Happy New Year.”.
Evidently, Donnie begged Bethany to wait to examine the receipt until he and his wife had left the IHOP. Bethany followed directions but was stunned to open the receipt and discover that Donnie had given her and her coworkers a $2,020 tip.

Wow, what a kind act, and I’m sure it meant a lot to Bethany after her major relocation to Illinois!
