Lemon joined CNN in 2006 after serving as an anchor for NBC Chicago and a correspondent for NBC News.
During his time on CNN, he was well known for his strong opinions and for criticizing cable television.
Following Nikki Haley’s announcement that she would run for president in the 2024 election, he recently came under fire for comments he made about the former governor of South Carolina on the radio.
He claimed she “isn’t in her prime” during a segment on CNN This Morning. ”.
