It’s often simple to forget that there are a lot of people who struggle because having children seems to come so naturally to some families. There are many couples who can attest to the fact that they couldn’t get pregnant for one reason or another. Or, at the very least, they spent a lot of time trying before they succeeded.
Others have no trouble getting pregnant, but the reality is that the whole process can be trickier than most of us think. Ask Sarah and Andy Justice of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who did everything in their power to conceive. Sarah and Andy had been trying to conceive for three years, but when it seemed unlikely that they would succeed, they vowed not to give up.
Facebook / Andy-Sarah Justice Because IVF treatment was too expensive, the couple ultimately chose adoption as a way to fulfill their dream of starting a family. The couple was paired with a birth mother, and Sarah was thrilled to be able to go with the expectant mother to her first ultrasound. However, neither Sarah nor Andy could ever have foreseen the news they would receive on that crucial day. Everyone was taken aback by what the ultrasound showed, including the doctors, the birth mother, and the Justices. Joel, Hannah, and Elizabeth, the triplets, were delivered without a hitch a few months later; the woman was carrying not one, but three children. After years of waiting, Sarah and Andy were finally parents!
Facebook / Andy-Sarah Justice Only, the story still had one major twist to go. Sarah began to feel a little off-balance about a week after welcoming the triplets into her home. In case she wasn’t already starting to feel ill, she made a doctor’s appointment. But Sarah didn’t have the illness. No, despite the fact that it may sound completely unbelievable, Sarah was now pregnant—and the good news didn’t end there. Sarah had a scan to determine the baby’s gender two months later. When she was finished, she called Andy to inform him that the first was a boy. ”.
Andy responded by yelling, “One?”.
The Justices, fortunately, understood the irony of the situation and rejoiced at the news. That’s right, Sarah wasn’t just pregnant; she was pregnant with twins. They acknowledged that their home life was about to get a whole lot crazier, but they also recognized that this unbelievable turn of events had to be happening for a reason. Imagine having five children who are all under the age of one; I thought it was difficult with one.
Facebook / Andy-Sarah Justice Sarah and Andy had longed for a family of their own for so long that they felt fortunate when five children appeared quickly. Congratulation to the Justices and may God keep blessing them and their children.
I love this story; what a wonderful miracle.
