The OutDaughtered actors Adam and Danielle Busby don’t have much time to slow down with six active daughters, all of whom are under 13 years old.
The couple told Us Weekly that when Danielle’s health began to deteriorate, they were forced to do just that.
When promoting the season 9 premiere of their TLC reality hit about life with Adam, 41, daughter Blayke, now 12, and their eight-year-old quintuplets—the only all-girl quintuplets in America—Ava, Olivia, Riley, Hazel, and Parker—Danielle, 39, said, “I used to not be able to get upstairs without feeling like I was going to pass out.”.
“That simply isn’t the norm for me. My family and I have always taken care of ourselves. I was always athletic and somewhat fit. It was therefore alarming to see how much my body had decreased.
”.
After the 2015 birth of the quintuplets, she claimed she became aware of a problem for the first time.
“Because I was moving constantly after having [them], my body never really recovered. For years, I was living on adrenaline, Danielle said. Therefore, my body wasn’t used to this when it started to slow down and they started school and entered kindergarten — or, really, first grade. I consequently experienced shock. ”.
According to the Mayo Clinic, fibromyalgia is “characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory, and mood issues.” She also claimed that she was being treated for migraines and that she also experienced fibromyalgia symptoms. ” .
I must be alright, she continued. “Therefore, [I] really had to slow down, and my body still occasionally flares up.
I’m very inflamed.
”.
Even though Adam said in his explanation from the previous year that “we do know it’s an autoimmune disorder,” he also said that “it could be one of a thousand different things. “.
Additionally, Danielle acknowledges that they are still “trying to identify exactly what this is. ”.
No, she replies, “This has no particular name.
But there are a lot of indicators that I’ve been aware of, including certain food reactions and the benefits of giving my body the right nutrition, vitamins, and other things. My regular visits to a neurologist, who helps me with many of the nerve problems, are very helpful. ”.
She continues, “I am doing a whole lot better,” adding that it has been “six months” since her last “debilitating” migraine. ”.
Nevertheless, she continues, “It’s hard sometimes to even explain what I’m feeling or how my body is reacting to something, even in the view of Adam because he’s like, ‘You look fine, you [were] fine yesterday. ‘”.
“It’s annoying, it’s frustrating, and there have been days when I haven’t taken any extreme measures. and [I] simply won’t stand up because I’m unable to move my hands or feet, so the journey is up and down. ”.
