He is the world’s most famous and gifted actor, but he recently had an accident and is having difficulty moving due to the orthosis he must wear.
It’s about Robert De Niro, spotted entering a New York City tower on Monday with a metal orthosis on his right leg. The 77-year-old actor was standing next to a pal holding his cane and keeping an eye on him from behind to ensure he didn’t collapse.
As a result of the set accident, Robert De Niro’s physical condition has suffered, and he is now clearly frail and has difficulty moving.
In mid-May, the actor was injured while filming Martin Scorsese’s “Killers Of The Flower Moon”.
The GoodFellas star stated last week that he was in “awful pain” due to the incident.
“It just happened to come to our attention just now. The pain was excruciating, and now I had to recover. Things happen, especially as you get older, and you must be ready for the unexpected. But it’s bearable. I play a passive character in Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon. We’ll be fine because I’m not much of a mover. “All I have to do now is finish the medical process and keep my foot in the exact position it needs to heal,” Robert De Niro revealed.
At 16, actor Robert De Niro dropped out of high school to pursue acting with Stella Adler. Later in his career, he collaborated with well-known directors such as Brian De Palma, Elia Kazan, and, most notably, Martin Scorsese.
For his performance in The Godfather: Part II, De Niro received his first Academy Award nomination. He went on to direct several critically praised films, including The Deer Hunter, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
De Niro’s career took off in the 1990s thanks to films like Goodfellas and Analyzed This. He most recently received an Academy Award nomination for his work on Silver Linings Playbook, for which he received his eighth nomination.
