When I first heard the story of this solemn old man, I could not collect my thoughts for hours. The New York boy was found in an apartment next to his deceased owner and had been there for five days, according to rescuers. I wondered how he was doing. It got scared? How long did it take him to realize that he was alone in this world?

Tyson was one of the most troubled and heartbroken dogs I have ever met. When the good people at Twenty Paws Rescue in Brooklyn, New York arrived on the scene to rescue her, she crawled into the crate and refused to come out. He was so scared and so alone that he didn’t have the strength to go out. But these faithful saviors knew that the only thing that heals a broken heart is time!

They waited long enough for Tyson to realize they weren’t going to hurt him. Finally he was allowed to take her from her old home.
With Tyson really fighting, it will be very hard to see his owner die. He was diagnosed with anemia and unfortunately his heart was damaged. He refused to eat or interact with other dogs and was always in his crate. This heartbroken dog needed someone to understand his pain and that someone was Laura!

The TPR team found the perfect teacher for Tyson! Laura, a longtime volunteer and big dog lover, did everything she could to make the oldest child feel comfortable. After a few days he seemed to be making great progress!
With a gentle approach and the necessary love and patience, Tyson began to eat well. He also gave his new mom the softest kisses and hugs almost 24/7.
After a while, Tyson came outside and started playing with the other dogs. Gradually, this old dog came out of his shell, showing that he was finally ready to trust another human.
That person is Sarah

The TPR team tried to contact the family of Tyson’s owner, but no one seemed to accept this handsome figure. But then a woman named Sarah appeared! One such kind animal lover contacted TPR and offered to give Tyson a forever home, and it was the best idea ever!
From the moment she entered her facility, Tyson immediately fell in love with her!
“He’s been through a lot and I always wish him the best. But when he first clicked, it was an amazing feeling,” said Rachel, one of the volunteers. A masked woman caresses a dog on the carpet
He melted into Sara’s arms and welcomed her with open legs and an open heart!
“I will completely miss him. How cute. “I’m glad to see him happy,” says Laura.
Seeing Tyson find “the one” after so much pain was very moving and made me cry. Rachel and Laura cried tears of joy. I was so happy that this amazing dog found his forever home.
“I am so happy to welcome him into my life. I’m glad to see him getting more comfortable and realizing that this is my final destination. This is where I live now and this is my home,” says Sarah.
After all this time, Tyson picked up where he left off and went on a wonderful journey with his new mother.
