I’m sure everyone, at least as a child, imagined that they would be locked in a store on purpose all night. And that’s exactly what this dog did. Here’s a story about a smart dog who found a way to showcase her beauty for adoption.

When the owner of a fabric store closed up shop for the day, he didn’t realize that not everything works the same way. The day before, a stray dog had been hiding in the store, waiting for the perfect moment to put his plan into action.
The next morning, a clever chick appeared with the sun and gracefully took up residence in a shop window, waiting for his human potential to make him a new member of the family. The dog is in the bedroom.
He certainly paid a lot of attention. Everyone passing by the store window stopped to enjoy the unique new display. A proud dog wants to be photographed and seen. I knew it was him!
Despite only staying one night at this unique hotel, it quickly became the talk of the town. Even on TV!
When it was time to open the shop in the morning, the dog politely left, sad that he hadn’t been adopted.
But what he didn’t know was that he had caught the attention of two animal rescuers, Juliana Koerich and Adri Sika, who were determined to find him.

He was so famous that he was not hard to find. Juliana and Adri said the dogs were very friendly and thanked the store staff for being polite and not angry with the furry intruder. After getting some proper petting and caressing, he was taken to the vet for a checkup! They also went out of their way to let everyone who saw him, whether in the media or in person, know that he was looking for a forever home.
The dog meets a new family
I finally found one! A boy named Lucas saw the dog and immediately fell in love with how smart the dog was. He adopted a smart dog and named him Thor!
Adri made sure everyone who followed this dog’s journey knew he had his own couch in a loving home.

Not all dogs have the same level of creativity or are lucky enough to come across a store with a large bed in the window. They rely on animal shelters to find loving families, or at least hoomas to adopt them.
If you see a puppy looking for a warm place to sleep in a loving home, but you can’t adopt him yourself, take him to the nearest shelter. By doing so, you will become an important part of the journey to get these lovely dogs to the forever homes they truly deserve.
