Prior to welcoming their third child, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage, and they have been very open about it.
The couple has now disclosed how they secretly used a different approach to welcome a fourth child.
The couple made their son’s birth public on Wednesday. The couple received assistance from a surrogate named Alexandra, and as a way of saying thanks for helping them bring their child into the world, they did something amazing.
Chrissy called Alexandra “the most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine” in a blog post. ”.
“When we first spoke with her, I knew she was the ideal match for us. Chrissy reflected, “All of our hopes and dreams came true. “I wanted to eat dinner with her, watch our kids play together, and lay my head on her belly to feel the kicks and hiccups. As long as the circumstances would allow, I wanted them to be a part of our lives. ”.
She described how Alexandra “fought to get ready for a second transfer,” giving up “her own body” for medical procedures and experiencing “the mental toll” that went along with it.
According to Chrissy, “We celebrated with hot pot, watched Vanderpump Rules with our swollen stomachs, and our families have been fusing into one for the past year. ”.
Chrissy wrote alongside a photo of herself giving birth on June 19: “Got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a little bit of chaos, but with strength, pure joy, and love. ”.
Chrissy and John also made the decision to give their surrogate a special tribute. Alexandra gave us this lovely gift, and we want to thank her for it, Chrissy wrote. We’re also excited to welcome Wren Alexander Stephens, whose name is closely associated with you. ”.
Miles and Luna are the couple’s two oldest kids. Esti, their third child, was also born six months ago. A photo of John Legend’s family, including the newest addition, was also uploaded. “Alexander Stephens, our new love,” read the caption. ”.
The new addition to the family appeared to be appreciated by everyone. Tell all of your Facebook friends and family about this great news and we wish them the best of luck.
