There is an exciting new twist on Coyote and Acme that has already been filmed!
The live-action/animation hybrid, based on characters from the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons, was put into production by Warner Bros. Discovery last week after about a year and a half in production.
Now, it looks like the next movie is getting a second chance at Scoob! Holiday Chase and Batgirl. Puck News first reported that the decision to cancel the film was reversed following online backlash following news of its cancellation.
After the news broke, several directors and showrunners talked about how well the film did after seeing the first test screenings. Now Warner Bros. is gearing up for screenings on distributors/streaming services like Prime Video, Netflix, and Apple TV, with plans to release it on those services, in theaters, or both.
Dave Green is a $70 million movie director. Sammy Burch wrote the screenplay and James Gunn co-wrote and produced the project.
The cast includes John Cena, Lana Condor and Will Forte. In case you missed it, check out what Dave Green had to say about the canceled movie last week.
