“When I heard the news of Jackie’s death, I was completely shocked and heartbroken. Everyone was the subject of kind words from such a genuinely kind person who lacked any diva traits. When Gloria Monty asked Jackie who she thought would make a good Noah Drake following the screen test along with several other hopeful young men, Jackie was the one (along with Gloria) who helped launch my 1980s career. If Jackie did not say me, may God bless her,” Springfield said. Sweet girl, I send you to love as your spirit soars. You made an impression on a lot of us, and we won’t forget you, he said.
