Roberts and Moder are dedicated to protecting their children’s privacy. They prefer to keep them out of the public eye and rarely share images of them on social media. However, we got a rare glimpse of Hazel, their daughter, when she accompanied her father to the Cannes Film Festival in July.
The festival was held to promote the film Flag Day, in which Moder worked as a choreographer and Sean Penn as the director. Although Hazel didn’t have a role in the film, she attended to show support for her father. And let’s just say, her striking beauty did not go unnoticed.
Some say she inherited her mother’s nose, while others believe she bears a strong resemblance to her handsome father. With her blonde hair, blue eyes, and natural charm, it’s no surprise that Hazel caught everyone’s attention at the festival.
Hazel wore a stunning soft yellow lace gown paired with black Mary Jane heels. Her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, and her makeup was kept simple. She truly embodied elegance and grace, a true woman!
Moder could not hide his pride as he spent the entire evening by Hazel’s side. The father-daughter duo looked absolutely delightful together.
While it remains unknown if Hazel or her siblings have any interest in pursuing careers in the film industry, it’s understandable that their parents keep them away from the spotlight. Roberts has always been known for her grounded nature, despite her considerable success and reported $250 million income. She has never let fame get to her head and has always maintained a humble demeanor.
In 2016, Hazel and her brothers made minor appearances in one of Roberts’ films, “Mother’s Day.” During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in 2018, Roberts shared her thoughts on her children’s perception of her fame. She mentioned that when they first realized she was famous, they were surprised and struggled to comprehend it.
Roberts understands that growing up in today’s world presents unique challenges for her children. She acknowledges that she and her husband have no idea what it’s like to be adolescents in this day and age. When her children ask her questions about their generation, she admits her lack of knowledge and assures them that she will get back to them after researching.
With parents as grounded and down-to-earth as Roberts and Moder, it’s no wonder that their children are shielded from the public eye. They prioritize their children’s well-being and give them the opportunity to lead normal lives away from the glitz and glamour of Hollywood.
