It’s challenging to accept the great Tina Turner’s passing in its entirety. According to reports, the singer of (Simply) The Best passed away on May 24 at her home in Switzerland after struggling with a number of health issues for several years.
Of course, there have been a ton of tributes for the legendary singer who is frequently referred to as the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Considering all of Turner’s struggles in life, nearly all of which she overcame, it is obvious that such a display of grief is only natural. After all, the singer from Brownsville’s quick ascent to the top of the entertainment business was anything but simple. Before overcoming the odds to become a titan of the music industry, she had to endure pain and suffering at the hands of her abusive ex-husband, Ike Turner.
Turner severed all ties after her divorce from Ike in order to start over. Ike’s children, whom Tina adopted after marrying their father, were reportedly also affected by this, according to reports.

Then, one day, after gathering her courage, she made the decision to leave Ike – and his children – behind.
