Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Heather Locklear’s face was frequently seen on television.
The actress, who was born in California, was attractive back then. In the enduring television series Dynasty, she is perhaps best known for portraying the glitzy Sammy Jo Carrington.
But did you know that Heather has a daughter, and that her one and only child resembles her well-known mother.
Born in Los Angeles in 1961, Heather Locklear was the bombshell of the 1980s and is still going strong at 61 years old.
Early in the 1980s, she made her first television appearances, and the series Dynasty was where she got her big break.
As a young girl, Heather had the face of a Disney princess and the angelic appearance of an angel. Her role as Sammy Jo Carrington propelled her to fame.
She was in fact a typical blonde TV actress, according to some. On Melrose Place, however, she was a formidable character, and as she appeared, the tension increased.
Heather has acting talent, as evidenced by the four Golden Globe nominations she received for her portrayal of Melrose Place’s brutal Amanda Woodward. It’s difficult to understand her career without also understanding her personal life, though.
In the 1980s, Heather was frequently pictured cuddling up to rock royalty. She first wed Bon Jovi lead guitarist Richie Sambora, whom she later divorced from Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
In 1994, the couple wed civilly in New Jersey, and then had a formal wedding with family and friends in France. The Melrose Place star’s stunning white gown was created by Nolan Miller, who also created the lavish costumes for Dynasty.
Ava Sambora was the couple’s only child and was born after Heather and Richie were married for 13 years.
The birth of Ava Elizabeth Sambora occurred on October 4, 1997. It’s safe to say, in my opinion, that she did not have a typical childhood. As a young girl, Ava was frequently spotted onstage with Jon Bon Jovi. At times, she even danced with the band members while introducing them to the crowd.
Being the daughter of two famous people, her upbringing could have easily turned into a nightmare. Instead, it seems like she did well because Ava is a very intelligent and educated woman today.
In high school, she relished her role as a cheerleader.
The adrenaline rush is what made her exclaim, “I like being thrown into the air!”.
Ava received a bachelor’s in psychology from Loyola Marymount University in 2020 and maintained a 4 point 0 GPA. She subsequently went to the University of Southern California to obtain a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy.
In what appears to be a continuation of her famous mother’s career, the young woman has also dabbled in acting.
The 25-year-old made her acting debut in the movie This is 40, and in 2010 during Los Angeles Fashion Weekend, she walked the runway for her father’s clothing line, “White Trash Beautiful.”.
She recently posted an image of herself in 2020 holding a bouquet of tulips while dressed in a gown. She was compared to her famous mother a lot in the comments left on the post by thousands of people.
I like flowers, Ava commented, tagging her friend Sarah Wermers, who was also sporting a leopard-print dress and long blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail.
One supporter exclaimed, “You are an amazing beauty, taking after your beautiful mother!”.
Recent photos and videos have led some to speculate that Ava resembles Heather’s former TJ Hooker look.
When ET spoke with Ava, a fan exclaimed, “Oh my, she’s her mother; even her voice sounds like Heather’s.”.
Although Ava and Heather are both attractive, some claim that they don’t really look alike.
In recent days, her 61-year-old mother published a string of Instagram messages wishing her daughter a joyful LMU graduation.
The 25-year-old blonde comes across to me as a lovely young woman with sensible priorities overall. Her mother and she are reportedly very close. The aspiring actress stated to US Weekly in 2018 that her career goals were to “follow in my mother’s footsteps.”.
The independent murder drama A Dark Foe, in which Ava co-starred with Selma Blair in 2020, was her most recent acting project. Possibly this lovely lady will show up more frequently in the future!
In addition to having found her soul mate, Ava has achieved academic success and has a promising future in movies. She is allegedly dating Tyler Farrar, a real estate investment associate at Pacific Partners, according to SCMP.
In 2019, the couple began dating.
Because they bring back so many wonderful memories from the 1980s, new pictures of Ava make me feel as though I’ve traveled back in time.
I mean, is it possible to inherit DNA from more attractive parents, like Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford?
This young woman has been lovingly raised by Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora. Congratulations and best wishes from Ava, who finds them to be responsible and grounded.
