Jim Caviezel, the actor best known for playing Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ,” has taken up a new cause.

In the currently showing film “Sound of Freedom,” Caviezel plays a former federal agent who works to defend children from being trafficked into slavery.

The actor discussed the flaws of modern Christianity in an interview with Fox News Digital while promoting the film, in which he also has a supporting role alongside Bill Camp and Mira Sorvino.

The problem, according to Caviezel, is how weak and useless modern Christianity has grown to be. In actuality, a lot of Christians are more afraid of the devil than they are of God. God could easily destroy the devil, but he is waiting for our choice.

“…In the present day, Christians are more afraid of the devil than they are of God.
God could easily destroy the devil, but he is waiting for our choice.
”.

Mr. Caviezel.

Caviezel claims that the “moral decay” in American society is a result of the “don’t want” of God in our country’s schools and religion.

Therefore, you are morally repugnant. I mean, moral decay is rampant and disintegrating, he continued. Laws have lost their significance. The First Amendment is necessary because the right to free speech is no longer a choice. The media has claimed that everybody is a racist, which has completely damaged your reputation.

The true-life tale “Sound of Freedom,” which is based on his experiences, was inspired by Tim Ballard, a former federal agent, who set out on a mission to protect children from human trafficking. Ballard told Fox News Digital that he “never dreamed” he would be able to share what he had observed while working to solve the issue.

“Really, it’s a sense of gratitude that someone bothered to get in touch with us and thought the story was interesting. This isn’t the kind of movie where you go, “Hey, entertainment value,” so it has to be someone who believes in it and is driven by a goal. These people are sincere, you know.

They have strong opinions about this film because it is genuinely based on a cause. ”.

Despite other actors declining the lead role, co-star and producer Eduardo Verastegui told Fox News Digital that Caviezel was “amazing.”.

“They were successful.
Additionally, I believe that everything occurs for a reason, he continued. “Thank God they got the green light; Jim Caviezel is great. In addition to being a superb performer, this man is passionate about it.

Despite being frequently portrayed as “controversial,” Caviezel asserts that he is not afraid to express his opinions.

Though not all figures who are controversial are bad, that is how you have been trained up to this point, he questioned, “Why is what I say or talk on controversial?

The movies in which Caviezel chooses to star must have a “moral redemption.”. ”.

He stated, “I wanted to bring his light because that is the purpose God gave me in this business. And that doesn’t necessarily mean that in a given field I’m always his beacon. And even though I wanted to do that, it doesn’t mean I won’t still play the devil in movies. It is only necessary to make some sort of moral atonement.

Caviezel continued, “But the math is so wrong now,” as he listed the roles he will play. “It just seems like [the devil’s] evil is winning right now,” to put it simply. ”.

Even if I don’t have any friends left by the time this is over, I will still have [God] in my life, Caviezel said. He won’t give up on me. I will be fixated on him at that time. I did my best to represent God and my heavenly Father when I eventually leave this planet, at least. I love him so much, and I want everyone to know it. And perhaps that’s not good for them. To them, not to me, though.

The Count of Monte Cristo’s star is unconcerned with pleasing his audience. According to Caviezel, a lot of people can like you.
Yet they don’t care for you.
The origin of love is God.

Ballard wants “Sound of Freedom” to inspire readers to help the cause. Ballard claimed that the movie provides knowledge and a chance for viewers to “intervene” and stop child trafficking.

At the movie’s premiere, Alejandro Monteverde remarked, “I hope this movie really only begins when you all leave the theater,” according to Ballard. Furthermore, we want them to reflect on it the next day, the next day, and the day after that. And we have a duty to build.

We’re building the landing pads in the back so they can come to us when they eventually start to wonder what to do. Along with some resources and opportunities for you to speak up, be heard, and take action, here are some ways you can contribute to the fight to end this terrible illness that affects so many children.

Caviezel wants viewers to feel inspired after watching the film.

The actor said, “That motivation inspires you to have bravery in this new world that we’re in right now. ”.
