Following the publication of a mysterious comment on her social media platforms, Kelly Clarkson sparked a significant response among her followers.
The singer hurried to Twitter to post an emoji-only message that featured a red wine emoji, a broken heart emoji, and a sun emoji. Additionally, she added three symbols to the end of her Twitter handle before taking a screenshot and posting the message to Instagram.
Following Kelly’s post, her fans went into a frenzy, with many speculating in the comments that her long-awaited new album is finally coming.
One user commented, “DROP THE ALBUM AHHH,” and another added, “The album’s coming!!!”.
One fan claims that Kelly previously used the three emojis to symbolise her upcoming album on an episode of her NBC daytime program, The Kelly Clarkson Show. The commenters continued, “She said these are the three emojis representing her forthcoming album on the @kellyclarksonshow… IT’S FINALLY COMING! TIME FOR A NEW KELLY ERA,” adding, “I’m excited about the new Kelly era!!! Let’s get started!”.
In September of last year, Kelly revealed her plans to release new music, telling Variety that her emotional journey during the divorce from Brandon Blackstock, with whom she shares two children, River Rose, 8, and Remington Alexander, 6, served as the inspiration for her upcoming songs.
“When my ex and I first broke up, I experienced various emotions. The 40-year-old at the time acknowledged, “That was difficult. Many of those are on the album. “Last night, my producer and I were giggling because I was like, “Remember that time we wrote 25 songs in a week?”.
“Most of these I wrote almost two years ago. I, therefore, informed my label that I had to go through it first before I could talk about it, which took some time. One of the reasons we celebrated Christmas so much over the past two years is because I thought, “Well, that’s happy! “.
She mentioned her divorce in an Instagram post from January announcing her album. She admitted to her fans, “I’m going, to be honest with you, it took me a minute to release this album because I just had to be over it, through it, like all around it. To talk about it, I must move past it”.
The mysterious comment was made just a few days after the actor paid tribute to Lance Reddick, who played John Wick’s antagonist before the actor’s untimely death and who would appear in Thursday’s episode.
