Friends’ Lisa Kudrow says her co-star Matthew Perry died in a hot tub from prescription drugs.
After Perry’s tragic death, the 60-year-old actress was rumored to be considering adopting Perry’s dog. Lisa Kudrow believes Matthew Perry’s death was caused by medication.
A source close to Lisa Kudrow has spoken out on her behalf, saying her “Friends” co-star died of drug addiction.
A source close to Kudrow told DailyMail.com: “Nobody wants to think it’s a drug, whether it’s prescribed or not, but it’s definitely on her mind.” “They think he got something that doesn’t mix with hot water,” the man said.
It is important to note that drowning can be the cause of death, but does not require confirmation by a medical examiner.
An autopsy has been performed and toxicology tests will provide additional information about Perry’s death.
The actor struggled with drug addiction for a long time, but only after his memoir came out did he really open up and let his guard down.
“I was at the height of my career on ‘Friends,’ a special moment of the iconic show,” the actor said last year while promoting his novel.
“If you’re addicted, it’s all math.” I didn’t do this to make myself feel better or feel better. I’ve never been a party animal. I just wanted to relax on the couch, take 5 Vicodin and watch a movie. It was nirvana for me. That is no longer the case.”
Perry claimed at the time that he had been sober for 18 months, saying, “I think I spent $9 million trying to get sober.”
Drowning was considered the most likely cause of death, but has yet to be proven. An autopsy is scheduled to provide more information about Perry’s death.
