Recently, a mother decided to take her young son and his dog to the dog park. But the little boy did not want to go.
In the end, they went anyway, and the little boy named Sterling was very happy to be able to play with his best friend, a basset hound. The only problem was that the basset hound wasn’t theirs, but a random dog that Sterling had just met and instantly fallen in love with.
You can make friends wherever you go
In a video posted to TikTok, Ari Christina, the boy’s mother, revealed that Sterling didn’t want to go to the dog park with her at first.
Somehow, in the end they still tried and it turned out to be Little Starling’s best day yet. When we arrived at the dog park, the little boy hung out and played with a certain basset hound.
The way they acted together suggested that the boy and the basset hound in question had known each other all along. They kissed, caressed, lay on the ground, sniffed the air together and generally soaked up all the love.
The whole scene seemed like something out of a fairy tale, and when the little boy and the dog met for the first time, it was definitely love at first sight.

Even though they had just met, they both had a lot of love and understanding for each other. It was great. Sterling had always loved animals and quickly learned how to handle them, his mother said.
He just becomes the best friend of any dog or animal he meets. The video quickly went viral, prompting comments to speculate that the boy must have his own dog.
However, his mother told everyone that Sterling actually had a dog of his own, a golden retriever, and that he and Sterling had an unbreakable bond from the beginning.

Kids and dog
This adorable little guy and this seemingly adorable basset hound may have become instant friends, but unfortunately, not all dogs are like that.
When introducing a new dog to young children, it’s important to take certain precautions to keep both the dog and the child safe. Make sure that interactions between them are always closely monitored.
Monitor their play and try to discourage any behavior that may be misleading. Young children are easily excitable, so it’s important to teach them to approach the dog calmly and treat them gently, while respecting personal space.
If your child wants to pet or approach a dog at the dog park, it is important to get permission from the owner first. Every dog is different and unique, so please approach your introductions carefully and stay safe.
