Mama June recently broke the heartbreaking news that her 28-year-old daughter Anna “Chickadee” Cardwell has stage 4 adrenal carcinoma, a tumor of any size that has spread to other areas of the body.
The star of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo used Instagram to share a link to the news story that was first reported by TMZ. The disease had spread to Anna, Mama June’s oldest child, and was discovered in January.
Alana Thompson, who also shared the news about Honey Boo Boo on Twitter, said of the development, “This is what I mean when I say that you never really know what someone is going through at home. No matter how well-known they are. Even though I’m well-known, you need to understand that my family and I experience regular [expletive] as soon as you can. ”.
“It occasionally takes me on an emotional whirlwind. Mentally, it’s always on my mind,” Mama June remarked before adding Anna’s dire prognosis, “We know it’s terminal. ”.
The first round of Anna’s chemotherapy is rumored to have taken place last month.
In 2012 and 2015, respectively, the 28-year-old gave birth to Kaitlyn Elizabeth and Kylee Madison. She started dating Eldridge Toney in 2019.
Just two days prior, Anna told followers on Instagram, “These crazy kids of mine decided that before they went to their dad’s place, they want to give me a heart attack and catch a chipmunk and bring it inside, and [they] wanted it as a pet.”.
Her first post since July 2022, it was the second of two she made on that particular day. ”.
