In all honesty, I did not anticipate these to be so beautiful. It’s certainly worth a try.

It can be challenging to choose the ideal flower pot for your plants. Similar to plants, flower pots should come in a range of sizes.

You don’t want to have to go out and buy a new flower pot each time you buy new plants, though. It might be time to make your own flower container if you’re looking for something more distinctive.

This project is perfect if you have a few random items lying around.

You must first collect a few egg trays. If you don’t have all 5 of the same size, just remove a few rows of trays to make them all the same size.

You should have enough to construct a sizable flower pot. Set them up in a row with each other fairly close together. This will simplify assembly.

Making cement is simpler than it first appears.
Three parts sand and one part cement are required to make this mixture. Place them together in a mixing bowl or pail.

Add water gradually to the mixture once it is all combined to create a sticky substance.

The egg trays can now contain the cement.

The egg trays should have a thick layer of cement applied.

Make sure the cement is smooth and fault-free by using a shovel to check for imperfections.

You can take the cement out of the egg tray after 24 hours, and you should have a nice, sturdy mold to use for your flower pot.

Start putting the flower pot together.

Now that the cement has been removed from the egg trays, start laying the slabs.

Each cement slab should be placed on its side to create a hexagonal arrangement.

The outside of the egg tray should have a rough design.

Then use more cement to affix and secure these slabs.

If there is no bottom, a flowerpot isn’t complete.

To prevent dirt from spilling out and messing up your home, you need a barrier.

These guys show how to finish the pot by first filling it with sand and then removing all but a thin layer from the top. Place additional wet cement here in this area.

To allow water from your plants to drain, make a tiny hole in the center of the soggy bottom.

Add some plastic bottle feet while the cement is still wet. They won’t move if you just press them into the cement.

When the cement is completely dry, turn it over.

Everything will remain in place even if the dirt just pours out.

Using simple household items, you have now created a cool and distinctive flower pot.

Remember to include your plants and soil. Any type of foliage can be grown in this homemade flower pot.
