This poor little girl was in a lot of trouble when she met her rescuer Aaron and saving her from the streets wasn’t enough.
Tilly didn’t have much time because she had very little hair, was anemic and very weak. He desperately needed help!
He bet asking Hooman for help.
Anemic puppy rescued from the streets
Aaron, a generous street animal rescuer in Bali, Indonesia, was on his way home when a helpless and lost puppy ran towards him.
He was a confused baby, alone in the world, with a swollen belly and multiple injuries, possibly from being bitten by another dog. Despite her fears, it was clear that the lonely girl, later named “Tilly,” needed help.
She was kind of scared of me, but seemed to be in such need of help she took the gamble to ask for my help. I wouldn’t have noticed her if she didn’t come running to me as it was dark, says Aaron.
She had these big, brown eyes looking up at me, saying: Help me!
Tilly Had A Whole Set Of Serious Health Issues
Aaron’s initial plan was to go pick up Tilly and give her medicine first thing in the morning, but something told him that this little princess needed vet help as soon as possible.
He drove her to the Sunset Vet Ubud animal hospital on the back of his bike, only to find out that she was suffering from a whole set of diseases.
She had worms, a fungal skin condition, a parasitic skin condition, puncture wounds on her belly, mild anemia, and was exhausted.
Her belly was five times the size of her, and Tilly was missing a lot of fur, but despite all that, she had the nicest life sparkle in her eyes and the gentlest temperament ever!
She had a long recovery process ahead, which is why Aaron decided to keep her in his home until she recovered.
The Prettiest Girl In Bali
Little by little, this brave girl started feeling better! She was still on her medication, but she started going out and playing with Aaron. The only problem was – Tilly didn’t like her medicated baths at all!
She would always try to run away from Aaron while he tried to bathe her, and it was hilarious! It was as if she enjoyed their mini quirks and a little chase in their back yard until she finally decided to give up and let him wash her.
In just a few short weeks, she grew new fur and got back on her paws, being the prettiest doggo princess in all of Bali! She was just unrecognizable and not a shadow of her old self!
She’s still on medication, but she’ll make a full recovery and will be the prettiest girl in all of Bali island!
Tilly Now Has The Nicest Home Ever
It was not an easy day for Aaron when Tilly’s pawfect family finally showed up, but he knew that it was time for this cute girl and her story to come full circle!
She got a fantastic family who loved her very much and took her everywhere with them!
I couldn’t have wished for a better home and partner in crime for Tilly. She now spends her days going on rice-field walks with her new family, wrote Aaron on his official Instagram account.
Tilly now has new hoomans to take care of her, but she’ll never forget the man who extended a hand of friendship to her when she needed it the most!
Aaron has visited Tilly a couple of times since she was adopted, only to realize that this beautiful princess goes all wiggly every time she sees him!
She couldn’t be happier in her new home, all thanks to a humane act of kindness that boosts our hope for better tomorrows.
