The day Angelica was born, on May 6, 2018, she was absolutely gorgeous. She had beautiful eyes, a charming button nose, and a lovely heart-shaped port wine stain on her face.
Angelica’s mother, Marianna Bowering, noted that even though many of her friends and family members are aware of Angelica’s birthmark, some people still feel the need to comment on her daughter’s appearance.
Someone once asked whether her face had been forced onto a skillet, which Bowering described as the “worst internet remark I’ve ever received.”.
Marianna said that her daughter had heard insults like being called “hideous” and a “defect,” among other things. The family’s problems were made worse by the brutality and insensitivity of these statements, but their perseverance and determination to overcome them led to a stunning turn of events.
Bowering is doing everything in her power to ensure that Angelica grows up realizing that, despite the crude remarks, she is beautiful just the way she is.
The 27-year-old mother recently made the decision to cosmetically mimic the birthmark of her 5-year-old daughter on her face.
The Epoch Times reported Bowering as saying, “I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day when they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks. I initially used makeup to draw a heart, but I changed my mind and decided to go outside and make Angelica’s port wine stain.
When some people told Marianna that her child’s facial spots would fade over time while others suggested that she could conceal them with makeup if she desired, Marianna became upset.
The mother wondered why her daughter should be made to hide her natural beauty rather than embrace it, and these remarks only added to her distress and irritation.
It served as a painful reminder of the horrible realities that await those who fall short of beauty standards. But it also made a point of valuing acceptance and love for everyone, regardless of appearance.
Bowering and her husband did not feel that their daughter should have ever been ashamed of her birthmark. They actively try to make sure that they are aware of the need to celebrate it.
To make Angelica’s port wine stain shine, Bowering added glitter before the corresponding “birthmark.”. ”.
Children with port wine stains on their faces run the risk of developing serious health problems, despite Bowering telling TODAY that Angelica is in good health.
According to Bowering, tests reveal that Angelica is completely healthy. We need regular checkups, especially for her eyes because glaucoma could be an issue. ”.
Angelica, you are absolutely gorgeous. Never pay attention to someone who tries to persuade you otherwise.
Marianna, I appreciate you being such a good mother and constantly reassuring your child that her birthmark is normal.
