Anne Heche was one of the most terrible recent celebrity fatalities; she passed away in August after suffering serious injuries in a violent car accident. The actress, 53, was nominated for both an Emmy and a Tony.
After her untimely death nine months ago, the actress was recently laid to rest by her family in a ceremony held on Mother’s Day.
The Six Days, Seven Nights actress was reportedly cremated a week after her death, according to E! News. But the family reportedly made the decision to postpone burying the remains in Hollywood Forever Cemetery until Mother’s Day.
A representative stated that “Anne was given her final resting place Sunday afternoon,” and Us Magazine received confirmation of this on Monday. She had a deep love for everyone, and her children, her legacy, are thankful to be able to celebrate Mother’s Day in her honor. They express their gratitude for everyone’s love and support during this trying time.
The two boys Heche had are still alive: Atlas and Homer.
In a crypt at the “Garden of Legends,” Heche has reportedly been interred next to Mickey Rooney’s final resting place, across from Chris Cornell, and opposite Johnny Ramone, according to TMZ. Her location allegedly offers a “beautiful view of the lake. ”.
Last summer, Heche was driving her Mini Cooper when she collided with a house in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Washington Post reports that it took 59 firefighters more than an hour to completely extinguish the fire after the car caught fire.
TMZ reports that cocaine use rather than alcohol use as the cause of the actress’s intoxication at the time of the collision was ultimately determined.

“Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend,” a spokesperson for Heche said at the time to E! News.
“Anne will be sorely missed, but her gorgeous sons, legendary body of work, and ardent advocacy ensure that she will never be forgotten. Her courage in always speaking the truth and sharing her message of acceptance and love will have a lasting effect. ”.
According to CNN, her son Homer wrote in a statement, “My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom. ” “I am left with a deep, unutterable grief after six days of unimaginable emotional ups and downs. I hope my mum is no longer in pain and starting to experience what I like to think of as her eternal freedom. I love you, Mom, rest in peace. ”.
Heche originally rose to stardom in the soap opera Another World, for which she received a Daytime Emmy Award. Heche was born in 1969.
She appeared as Marion Crane in Hollywood movies such as Donnie Brasco, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Volcano, and the remake of Psycho.

In the late 1990s, Heche garnered media attention for her romance with comedian Ellen DeGeneres. She experienced mental health issues, which she claimed were brought on by her father’s early sexual abuse of her.
Enjoy your peace, Anne Heche. After Mother’s Day, which was undoubtedly very emotional, our thoughts are with her family.
