Most people believe that becoming a parent is one of life’s greatest blessings. Of course, it can also be terrifying, especially if you don’t have any allies by your side.

Rubin Swift left his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to pick up his newborn daughter in Phoenix, Ohio. He was thrilled to finally see Ru-Andria, his four-day-old infant, as he had sole custody of her.

When he brought his daughter home, Rubin was excited for his friends and family to meet her.

But as soon as he and Ru-Andria arrived at the Sky Harbor International airport and began to check in, he came to an abrupt halt.

Frontier Airlines refused to let Ru-Andria board despite the fact that he had a doctor’s note stating that he was fit to travel.

Infants younger than seven days old are reportedly not allowed to fly with them, according to a policy cited by azfamily . com.

Rubin began to worry because he was stranded by himself in an unknown city with no one to help him.

What would he and Ru-Andria do next?

Then he remembered a senior citizen he had met at the hospital. Joy Ringhofer, a volunteer at the Banner University Medical Center, had Ru-Andria in her arms just moments after she was born.

When he first entered the room, Rubin and Joy got along well. Very quickly, the two grow close.

No one else was available to him, so he decided to take a risk. Rubin called Joy and told her about his difficult situation.

The good news is that Joy acted without hesitation. As Rubin has confirmed, she did something quite extraordinary: “I didn’t expect her to say, ‘I’m coming to get you and take you home. I therefore thought she would take me back to Cleveland, but she took me to her house instead, where she fed me and made sure my child was okay.

There is no doubt that the events of the following three days are proof that there are still good people in the world.

Seeing what a wonderful person Joy is makes my heart happy. Although she and Rubin may not have had the best of relationships, she still welcomed him with open arms and went above and beyond to assist him.
