Following the passing of Kirstie Alley, Shelley Long, a former Cheers cast member, was seen looking dejected while out and about.

Long, who portrayed Diane Chambers in the well-known comedy, was spotted walking her dog in a Los Angeles park on December 6, one day after the news of Alley’s passing at the age of 71.

The TV legend could be seen in photos obtained by Daily Mail looking pensive and warm in a Sherpa jacket, sweatpants, and sneakers.

Long is said to have lived in a $1.3 million condo in the affluent Pacific Palisades neighborhood since divorcing her second husband, Bruce Tyson, in 2004.

According to a People interview, Alley, who famously made her appearance on the show as Rebecca Howe in 1987, decided to “break the ice” by dressing like her predecessor.

She made an unforgettable first impression by donning a blonde wig and a “goody-two-shoes” dress, much to the delight of her new co-stars.

From 1987 to 1993, Alley played the lovable character with success, earning an Emmy and a Golden Globe.

On December 5, Alley’s two daughters, True and Lillie Parker, informed them of the tragic news. RadarOnline.com then reported on her passing.

In the opening line of the statement, it was stated, “We are sad to inform you that our incredible, fierce, and loving mother has passed away after a battle with cancer, which was only recently discovered.” It went on to say that Alley was “surrounded by her closest family and fought with great strength, leaving us with a certainty of her never-ending joy of living and whatever adventures lie ahead.”. ”.

She was an even better mother and grandmother than she was a legendary actress, they added. “Our mother’s zest and passion for life, as well as her children, grandchildren, and numerous animals, not to mention her unending joy in creating, were unmatched and left us feeling inspired to live life to the fullest like she did. ”.

Since then, Alley will be cremated and honored at a memorial service hosted by the Church of Scientology at the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida, according to information obtained by RadarOnline.com.
