Since February, 2-year-old Oaklee Mae Snow has been missing.
Authorities declared over the weekend that they thought a 2-year-old Oklahoma child who has been missing since February had died.
In February, toddler Oaklee Mae Snow was last seen by her mother, Madison Marshall, leaving what onlookers called an Indianapolis “crack house.”.
According to nearby Fox 59, Snow is reportedly dead in the eyes of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The Indianapolis Star reports that the report was made on the same day that authorities in Morgan County, about 27 miles south of Indianapolis, discovered a child’s bones.
Indianapolis police have not yet confirmed whether Oaklee’s body has been discovered.
Authorities have been looking for the youngster ever since her mother is accused of stealing her from her father Zack Snow’s home in Cromwell, Oklahoma, in the middle of January.
The father stated to local media outlet KFOR last month, “I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.”. I’ve been on my phone nonstop today. I’m referring to getting in touch with and looking for anyone who may know where she is.
Detectives, according to KFOR, believe that on January 19, Marshall, 22, abducted Oaklee and Coleton, her 7-month-old brother, from Snow’s home. The two young children were allegedly brought to Indianapolis, where Roan Waters’ family resides, by Marshall and her ex-boyfriend Roan Waters, 25.
Marshall was last observed bringing the young child from the alleged drug house, according to J. T. Palmer of the Oklahoma’s Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. At the time, a blanket was covering the toddler.
According to them, she was either nodding off or unconscious. She wasn’t moving, Palmer observed. I’ve got to get her to the hospital,” her mother said. She was wrapped in a blanket and said, “She’s been hurt.
However, Palmer claimed that Oaklee “did not make it to the hospital that night.”.
According to Fox 59, Marshall and Waters are also said to have abandoned Oaklee’s 7-month-old brother inside the alleged drug house. The baby was allegedly picked up by Waters’ mother and sister when they discovered that he had been left alone.
The Oklahoman claims that while Marshall was detained in North Carolina late last month, Waters was arrested in Colorado on other charges.
Read this post was able to obtain jail records that show Marshall is currently being detained in an Indiana jail on two felony carelessness counts as well as another felony charge for aiding a felon. Marshall’s next court appearance is scheduled for Monday in the late afternoon.
