Many dogs spend their entire lives on the streets, deprived of the lowest human conditions. Currently, there are approximately 3,500 dog shelters in the US, but statistics from 2022 show that there will still be more dogs in need. Sophie spent most of her life sharing the same fate as her other sisters, until a young girl stepped in and gave her a home.

Unfortunately, it didn’t last long as the girl’s mother didn’t want Sophie around and poor Petey sent the girl back to the street. But just when it seemed that Sophie’s fate was lost, along came a volunteer from Redlands, California!

Shuffle until the savior finally appears.

Faith Easdale, a Dream Fetchers: Project Rescue volunteer in Huntington Beach, California, received information about a poor Pitty girl wandering the streets. To make matters worse, this poor dog was pregnant. Sophie the pitbull is lying on the bed

Sophie, who was constantly moving from one place to another, was shy and afraid of people. But Eisdale was happy to help him! Isdale, accompanied by his colleagues, slowly approached Sophie, put her in his car and drove her home.

The Preciado family took the first steps in the house.

This Petey mom-to-be has slowly regained her faith in humanity, but she still has a long way to go. Isdale placed him in a beautiful orphanage. Claudia Preciado and her family were so excited to welcome Sophie home.

After all this time, Sophie is in a safe place where she can deliver litter without worrying that her dog is not safe. Sophie is lying in bed with the dogs

A few days later, some adorable Pitty babies were born in Sophie’s foster home. It was a moment of pure joy and happiness for everyone. This Pitty mother was especially relieved to be with her babies.

Allen Boartfield is Sophie’s Whisperer

Even after several weeks at the orphanage, Sophie remained suspicious of anyone approaching her child, except Allen Boartfield, another volunteer who worked at DFPR.

He was actually her personal whisperer and Sophie seemed very calm and comfortable with him. After working closely with Sophie for a few days, she allowed me to pet the puppy and even hold it in my arms.

Sophie seems to really like her Allen’s friendly attitude and the way he talks to her whenever she is around her. Once a petite girl, she fell in love with Allen!

May Sophie and her babies be happy.

Sophie’s puppies grew stronger every day until they were old enough to go to their forever homes. Thanks to our team of volunteers, everyone was successfully cared for and treated!

And Sophie – she couldn’t be happier! Even after six months of intensive socialization with her caregivers, she was still far from her ex. Sophie is now the new girl who makes everyone smile!

If there’s one thing we can say for sure, it’s that Sophie and her puppies deserve a warm and cozy home and a loving family!
