Former NFL player Matt Ulrich has passed away.
The quarterback who won Super Bowl XLI with the Indianapolis Colts in 2007 was 41 years old. Matt played two seasons in the NFL after playing collegiately at Northwestern.
Colts owner Jim Irsay announced the sad news via X, formerly known as Twitter. “I was heartbroken to hear of Matt Ulrich’s passing,” Jim wrote. “Matt was only with us for two seasons, but he left his mark on a lot of people. Great guy, I heard he was a great dad and a Super Bowl champion. My prayers go out to his family. 🙏”
