Finding out that your favorite artist won’t ever release new music or that a well-known actor won’t ever appear in another TV show or movie is never a happy day.

The careers of our most adored celebrities typically end only through death. Many artists keep producing work well after they have retired, and as they get older, their styles evolve.

But because Gladiator actor Russell Crowe has said he’s considering retiring before turning 60, we might never get to see the Hollywood heavyweight get older on screen.

Even Crowe’s most ardent supporters are alarmed by his recent comments at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, despite the fact that he has been a titan of the film industry for close to three decades.

The renowned actor, who will turn 60 in a year, has openly discussed taking an early retirement from the movie business, saying that he might live a better life by fading into obscurity.

Ageing, according to Crowe, “You stand in front of the mirror and go, ‘Who the f— is that?'” is a phase he is currently going through. ”.

I’ll take Ridley Scott as an example because he consistently discovers fresh perspectives in his work. Otherwise, I’ll stop communicating with you and disappear from your life. I haven’t decided what it will be yet. These are two very viable options. ”.

Ridley Scott, who Crowe famously worked with on the classic Gladiator in 2000, is 85 years old. His IMDb page states that he has up to 20 projects in the works.

According to Fox News, Crowe is currently working on eight movies. If this is true, it might take some time before his fans express their sorrow over his exit from the entertainment industry.

Russell Crowe will be missed when he stops acting, and I don’t know about you.
