Ben Tozer, the captain, received love from the Wrexham co-owner.

Ryan Reynolds sent Wrexham captain Ben Tozer a message of sympathy after learning of his heartbreaking family tragedy this week.

Following the soccer player’s heartbreaking announcement of his father’s untimely death two days after he received a leukemia diagnosis, the co-owner of Wrexham AFC paid tribute on social media.

According to Ben, Keith received a diagnosis on Saturday and underwent a successful brain operation on Sunday. But on Monday, at the age of 59, he passed away suddenly.

The 33-year-old wrote in a tweet with the hashtag “Don’t leave it too late!” that “On Saturday, I was told my Dad has Leukaemia, but it’s treatable.”.

He needed a brain operation on Sunday night, which went smoothly. Then, the unthinkable occurred last night, he claimed. But he waited too long, and that’s why all of this happened. He wasn’t aware that he was trying to hide his agonizing pain. ”.

We always told people to “go get checked,” Ben continued. “He was simply terrified of what it might be. Dad, I appreciate you very much. I’ll remember our last exchange of words for the rest of my life. You have my undying love. We all tried to make you proud, I hope. ”.

Ryan retweeted Ben’s statement and added: “So sorry to hear this. Ryan co-owns Wrexham Football Club with actor Rob McElhenney. We are praying for you and your family. ”.

Ben’s heartbreaking news prompted Ryan to write, “Gut-wrenching,” in direct response.
Tozer’s family has my sincere condolences.
”.

Ryan’s previous encounters with close-to-home heartache are not new. He mourned the passing of Wrexham supporter Jay Fear earlier this year. Fear passed away from appendix cancer four months after being diagnosed. He was 45.

In addition to posting pictures of him, Jay, and his family, Ryan used Instagram Stories to offer his condolences on behalf of himself and his wife, Blake Lively.

Peace be with you, Jay Fear. “One of the bravest, kindest, and most generous people I’ve ever met,” Ryan wrote alongside a picture of himself holding Jay. “Deb, Sam, and Jess, I’m grateful that you shared your father with me. ”.

Prior to Wrexham’s victory over Boreham Wood, which resulted in the team’s first promotion to the Football League in 15 years, the nonprofit Bucket List Wishes set up a meeting between Ryan and Jay. It was at this meeting that Ryan first met Jay.

After meeting Jay, Ryan acknowledged feeling “choked up,” saying, “It was incredible to meet Jay. If our roles were reversed, I wonder if I’d have the same reaction. His family is even better than he is; they are both stunning. When I realized how much his wife and kids will miss him while we were talking, I started to get a little teary-eyed. ”.

When Jay finally got to meet his “idol,” he was ecstatic, and Deadpool gave him a glove. Sadly, Jay passed away before he could fulfill Ryan’s other plans for him, which included going to the third movie’s set while it was being filmed.
