Who doesn’t enjoy a traditional lemonade stand?
Nothing compares to bumping into a young child on a sunny day who is eager to sell you a cup of ice-cold lemonade.
A policeman recently approached a young boy named Landen who was selling cookies and lemonade close to his home. The boy’s grandmother taped their conversation and uploaded it to Facebook.
Officer Perez of the Ansonia Police Department in Connecticut came up to Landen and inquired about his plans for the money he would earn from selling lemonade.
Landen informed him that he needed a pair of blue sneakers for class.
Officer Perez finished his conversation with them and walked away.
A short time later, Officer Perez was back at the 7-year-old’s lemonade stand, but this time he had something for Landen: a pair of blue sneakers.
It would be an understatement to say Landen was happy.
Officer Perez made my baby’s day yesterday, and not only that, but he made him feel like a king, said Wendelyn Narvaez in her praise. ”.
A few days later, Narvaez shared a picture of Landen beaming broadly in his brand-new sneakers.
Wayne Williams, the chief of police in Ansonia, responded to Perez’s act of kindness by stating that Perez’s kind of officers “are the types of officers that we are all looking to hire. ”.
The opposite is also true. Police misconduct is frequently reported, but not good behavior. This was such a thoughtful move.
